Tuesday, October 25, 2022 –Central Organization of Trade Union COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli has met with Amani National Congress ANC Party leader, Musalia Mudavadi.
Atwoli went to meet the Prime Cabinet Secretary Nominee at Musalia Mudavadi Nairobi offices today Tuesday October 25 where the two held talks surrounding the development of their Mulembe Nation.
Revealing scanty details of their talks, Mr. Mudvadai explained that they discussed matters unity and progress for their Western Region.
“This afternoon COTU Secretary-General Francis Atwoli paid me a visit. We consulted on matters development and unity in Western Region. We agreed we have no option as leaders but to consolidate,” he said in a statement.
Interestingly, Atwoli did not make any post on the same but from the photo shared by Mudavadi on social media, he looked happy with the re-union.
Mudavadi and Atwoli have not been seeing eye to eye throughout the heightened campaign season after the two differed on political ideologies and loyalty.
Atwoli who supported Raila’s Azimio la Umoja accused Mudavadi of taking the Luhya Nation to the William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza alliance, while the latter responded by describing the COTU boss as a busy body in Kenya’s politics.
But immediately after Odinga flopped in the elections, the flamboyant trade unionist coiled back announcing his willingness to start working with the new government.
