Tuesday, March 14, 2023 – East African Legislative Assembly EALA MP Winnie Odinga has revealed her new-found relationship with President William Ruto’s daughter, Charlene Ruto.
Winnie has today Tuesday March 14 stated that her goal working with Charlene was something else and not to do with power.
“I don’t see it as a challenge because it must not be one. We have to change our thinking as Africans. Political power is not the goal.
“Those of us who are privileged to even have fathers need to work together to offer our brothers and sisters dignified lives. That is the goal,” Winnie stated.
She was speaking on South African news channel News 24 where she noted that she was not struggling in any way to work with the President’s family.
Winnie who is now East African Legislative Assembly EALA MP and Charlene, on Friday, March 10, shared a platform to champion Women’s Rights at the Kenya Model United Nations 22nd Forum.
The duo addressed a wide range of issues affecting girls and mothers across different generations.
She also discussed the last general election which she described as a sham.
