Saturday, November 5, 2022 –Opposition leader Raila Amolo Odinga now wants the Kenya Kwanza administration to investigate the death of Chris Msando and dozens of other citizens who mysteriously died in the past.
Addressing media on Thursday November 2, a fearless Odinga directly poked holes into the conduct of the new government saying it was wrong for it to focus its energy on looking for two lost Indians and forget that several other Kenyans had also lost their lives.
Raila, without blinking an eye, tasked the new administration of William Ruto to also investigate the deaths of businessman Jacob Juma and Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission IEBC ICT expert Chris Msando who died in 2017.
Odinga challenged Ruto to invest equal energy in serving justice to Kenyan families which lost their dear loved ones in suspicious State-like murder crimes.
“Ruto seems to be looking for some Indians whom he lost during the August elections. Those Indians were human beings and deserve to live and we pray that justice shall be done in their case.
“But as Mr. Ruto mounts a search for the Indians, whoever and whatever they were to him, we want an equally vigorous search established to find the truth behind the disappearance and death of tens of Kenyans,” Odinga said.
The opposition boss further listed the death of former police officer linked to the then DP’s office Kipyegon Kinei as well as International Criminal Court ICC witness Christopher Koech.
He also cited two more deaths cases of Meshack Yebei and John Kituyi.
