Saturday, January 28, 2023 – East African Legislative Assembly EALA Member of Parliament Winnie Odinga has called upon Kenyan designers to supply her with leather bags.
In an afternoon statement she posted on her socials, Winnie – last born daughter to Raila Odinga – urged those with locally made briefcases for ladies to quickly reach to her.
“Fashion Designers: I’m looking for a locally made, leather, ladies’ briefcase. Please share, want to purchase asap! (Disclaimer, not locally sold but locally made),” she posted.
Winnie’s name featured more during the last general election in which her father was vying for the presidency for the fifth time.
Sadly, they lost to Kenya Kwanza candidate William Ruto who was declared the winner by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati.
