Friday, January 20, 2023 –Students who sat Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education KCSE 2022 will be receiving their grades anytime.
Early today Friday January 20 in the morning, Education CS Ezekiel Machogu was seen leaving the Education Ministry offices with his convoy headed to the offices of the Kenya National Examinations Council KNEC on Denis Pritt, near Statehouse.
“EDUCATION CABINET Secretary Ezekiel Machogu will tomorrow, Friday, January 20th, 2023 hold a press conference at the offices of the Kenya National Examinations Council on Denis Pritt, near State House, at 8am,” an update read on Thursday afternoon.
Making a similar update on Friday January 20 morning, one Abuga Makori published a video showing CS’s convoy leave KNEC offices after the press briefing.
“Education CS Ezekiel Machogu leaves KNEC offices ahead of the releasing of KCSE 2022 results,” he captioned the video.
Educationists in the country have indicated that the CS will be departing from the traditional naming of top schools and candidates in the national assessment. He will, instead, drop the trend, which usually evoked different emotions and enthusiasm among Kenyans as prominent schools jostled to outdo each other on the score sheet.
