Distressed Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko had to allegedly abandon Nairobi MCAs at a hotel in Kwale after he learnt of their betrayal.
Sources who reached to the media claimed that after Mr. Sonko spent his fortune treating over 70 MCAs on luxurious hotel life thinking they could help save his job but this didn’t happen. They however, still went on to plan and vote him out via Zoom platform.
Our sources reported that Generous Sonko had booked them at the expensive Diani Beach Hotel ostensibly to help interfere with the House quorum required to oust him, what did not work.
It is further claimed that most of the MCAs had even went as far as procuring local twilight girls to help sought their lonely nights only to be abandoned by their master(Sonko) at the eleventh hour.
Stranded, they tried to reach out to their colleagues in Nairobi who could help settle the outstanding bills but again this dirt spilled out to the public.
Embattled Sonko had tried hard to make sure he is not impeached but his plans fell on deaf ears as clever Speaker Benson Musungu used Video voting means to allow even those who were not present to participate in the exercise that finally rendered the governor not only helpless but also powerless.
