There are fake Building Bridges Initiative BBI copies already in circulation around the country.
Renowned blogger Robert Alai has made the disclosure on his popular social media timelines saying members of Tangatanga were hell-bent on printing the copies so that they can mislead the country ahead of the forthcoming referendum.
Making the sensational allegations, the blogger further revealed that the Deputy President William Ruto’s wing of Tangatanga were ready to counter the authentic BBI document through ‘falsehood’.
He warned Kenyans to be aware of such false prophets of doom who don’t want the country to move forward from the chains of poverty due to their selfish interests in politics.
“BEWARE: Tanga Tanga adherents are creating a fake #BBIReport to incite the public against it. Don’t fall for it. ” the Tweet read from the blogger.
Alai was saying this shortly after the president and his new ally Raila Odinga finally unveiled the report at Kisii State Lodge on Wednesday evening.
According to constitution lawyers, the document had touched on important issues including addressing the problems of the youths in the country as well as devolution and health. The position of Woman Representative has also been scrapped.
Deputy President William Ruto and his brigade have already expressed their reservations in the whole project which they think is aimed at awarding election losers with plum positions in governments.
