Friday, December 16, 2022 –Government will be taking a whopping sh 40 Million from Betika mega jackpot winner, Eli Kipruto Rotich.
Currently a student based at Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology JKUST, he won a sh 200 million Betika mega jackpot hence turning around his life, unexpectedly.
“I’ve never lost hope because I bet for entertainment. This money is going to change my life and my entire family. I think this is what they call “Generational Wealth,” he revealed.
From any betting won, the taxman comes for her 20-percent share; meaning that the 22-year old winner, Kipruto, will walk away with sh 160 million.
Speaking to the media today, the Nakuru-born young man expressed his joy after landing the luck that he was not quite sure of.
“I usually spend less than sh100 every weekend and I didn’t think much about this Mega Jackpot combination because I have registered just one bonus win over the years,” the Manchester City fan recounted.
He added that, for him, betting is a fun and a fulfilling game that he enjoys doing every day.
