Popular comedian turned Youtuber Felix Odiwuor or Jalang’o has received a whopping sh 1.8 million Ad revenue for his newly launched Youtube channel.
The comedian on Saturday August 29th, spoke about his top secret in his career’ success saying it is as a result of consistency. He claimed that many young men were suffering in poverty because of wanting easy come results which are never there. He said for him to reach that far, he had to endure a lot in life.

Jalang’o pointed out that despite all the scandals which are forced on him, he still was able to rise above all of them to make it in life.
He launched his Youtube channel christened Bonga na Jalas which started barely three months ago and already he has over 200K subscribers; and now that his first cheque is sh 1.8 milion, this means he might start getting more than 3 million in revenues from next months due to quick growth of his fanbase.
The comedian-cum-Radio presenter was recently sacked from Milele FM where he held a successful show with Alex Mwakideu and before dust could settle he was already hired at another high end station Kiss 100 where he is said to be earning not less than 450K per month.
The comedian disclosed this current a million dollar earning while talking to fellow youtuber Tonnie Muriithi in Nairobi.
“Jalang’o TV, we’re barely 3 months old and already at over 200k subscribers.
“YouTube sent us our first cheque in three months of Ksh1.8 million from ad revenue,” he disclosed.
He said he holds four shows every week what has enabled him to make that first fat cheque from Google Ads alone.
“Do you know for the first 3 months since I started my YouTube channel, I’ve had at least 4 shows every week?” he posed.
Apart from that, he also rakes huge income from direct advertisers who he recently disclosed how he charges them sh 200K per slide.
He is now among the top three well paid youtubers in the country and it seems his luck is still stuck with him despite the many scandals that keep knocking on his door daily. He drives classy machines some he has bought at sh 8.7 million.
From Youtube alone, one can make more than a billion shilling in a month and the perfect example is Ryan’s World who reliably made a staggering $ 26 million an equivalent of sh 2.6 billion.
